Sunday School
Sunday School at First Lutheran Church is held at 9:30 a.m. on Sundays between
the worship services. This includes the summer
months. Our classes include Nursery through 8th grade.

Brown Bag Bible Study meets Wednesdays at noon. Bring a sack lunch.

Men's Bible Study meets weekly on Monday evenings at 6 p.m. at the Lowry residence at 508 Red Bird Lane.
This is an informal user friendly time of
fellowship and Bible study for the male gender.

7:00 p.m.

Yancey. Welcome to a journey that will challenge
you--and change
you. It's one thing to talk about grace;
it's another to taste its power. Through candid video
interviews, Philip
Yancey integrates true-life faces and experience
in 10 powerful sessions.
We will be offering a 4 part interactive study of
the Apostles' Creed. We will discuss the reason for
its creation
and the heresies involved. This study will
also include Luther's Small Catechism and the importance of
this
resource to our understanding and our use of it.
Confirmation Instruction
Confirmation Instruction is a faith-development course for
7th through 8th grade
students.

Classes are held Wednesday nights at 6:00
pm.
Confirmation Camp is held at the Nebraska Lutheran Outdoor Ministries facilities
in Ashland, Nebraska the first week of July each summer for grade 6. Students
spend Sunday through Friday with their class along with students from several
other Lutheran congregations in Nebraska for faith formation activities throughout
the week.
Confirmation is celebrated in April of each year as the students are
finishing 8th grade.
